Originated from Ioannina, Epirus, George Amiras has been employed as a journalist in press and TV channels for more than 25 years. He holds a law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. As a genuine dreamer and an activist, he has travelled around Greece and around the world, mostly cooperating with NGOs in purpose of environmental and species’ rescue projects.
At the municipal elections of 2010 he was elected as a Member of Municipal Council Athens Board, in charge of the green agenda. In the national elections of May 6, 2015, he was elected as a Member of The Greek Parliament, being re-elected in the elections of June 17, 2019.
On January 5, 2021 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy.
Apostolos Tzizikostas was born on September 2, 1978. He studied Political Science, Foreign Policy and Diplomacy at Georgetown University in Washington. He gained his first work experience in the Office of the Chairman of the Congressional Foreign Affairs Committee. He completed his studies with a master’s degree in European Public Administration and Economics at the University College of London. In 2002 he created his own company in the field of production, processing and standardization of dairy products based on organic standards.
In the national elections of September 2007, he was elected Member of Parliament of the 1st Electoral District of Thessaloniki. In the Regional Elections of November 2010 he was elected Deputy Regional Governor of Central Macedonia – Deputy Regional Governor of Thessaloniki. In the Regional Elections of May 2014, he was elected Regional Governor of Central Macedonia with a percentage of 71.03% in the second round of the elections. In the May 2019 elections, he was re-elected Regional Governor of Central Macedonia with a percentage of 62.04 from the first round of elections. In November 2019, he was elected President of the Union of Regions of Greece.
Since 2015 he has been a member of the European Committee of the Regions. In July 2017 he was elected Head of the Greek Delegation and Vice-President of the European Committee of the Regions. In February 2020, he was elected President of the European Committee of the Regions.
He speaks English and French and his articles are often published in newspapers and magazines in Greece and abroad.
onstantinos Zervas is a graduate of the Experimental school of the University of Thessaloniki and holds a BA degree and postgraduate degree (MSc) with scholarship and distinction grade from the Aristotle and Brown University (USA) respectively.
Since 1990 Konstantinos has started running his own office in Thessaloniki as a civil engineer. He has overseen various big projects, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Attiko Metro SA (2010-2016), he served as the Chairman of the State Orchestra Board of Thessaloniki (SOB) (2011-2014) and in 2013 he was elected as a member of the Central Representation of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Regional Department of Central Macedonia. He is the Head of the KEDE Delegation to the European Council of Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), Vice-President of Solid Waste Management Agencies of Central Macedonia (FODSA), President of the Thessaloniki Municipal Nursery “O Agios Stylianos” and council member of the Organisation of Urban Transportation of Thessaloniki (OASTH).
Konstantinos has been elected as a councilman of the City of Thessaloniki in 2010, while he has served as Deputy Mayor for the Environment, Quality of Life and Free Spaces (2011-2014), Deputy Mayor for Citizen Mobilization, Youth and Sports. Since 2019 he is the Mayor of Thessaloniki.
Konstantinos authored a book in 2019 entitled “Poplars or Chamaerops? Thoughts for Thessaloniki and politics”.
Konstantinos Skrekas comes from Megarhi, Trikala. He is married to Eirini Karagouni and has two daughters, Alexandra and Sophia.
He holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Technology), and an M.Sc. in Construction Management from the University of Birmingham, UK. After completing his studies, he worked in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector in managerial positions. He is the co-founder of a company operating in the FMCG sector and held the position of CEO for 15 years.
In the general election of 6 May 2012 he was elected Member of the Greek Parliament (MP) for the Constituency of Trikala with the New Democracy Party. He was re-elected on 17th June of the same year.
On the 25th of January 2015 he was elected Member of the Greek Parliament (MP), receiving the largest number of electoral votes among candidates from all political parties, in the Constituency of Trikala.
He was re-elected in the elections on 20th September of the same year. In the general elections on 7th July 2019 he was elected Member of the Greek Parliament for the Constituency of Trikala.
During his terms of office in the Hellenic Parliament he has been a member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, the Standing Committee on Production and Trade, the Special Permanent Committee on Research and Technology and the Special Permanent Committee on Environmental Protection.
He was also Shadow Minister for the Environment and Energy Sector for the New Democracy Party from January 2016 – June 2019.
He was appointed Minister of Development and Competitiveness from October 2014 until February 2015.
On 9th July 2019 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, being specifically responsible for the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP).
On 5th January 2021 he was appointed Minister of the Environment and Energy.

Adonis-Spyridon Georgiadis was born on November 6, 1972, in Athens. He is married to Eugenia Manolidou, and they have two children, Athanasios-Perseas and Anastasios-Alkaios.
He is a graduate of the Department of History and Archeology of the Philosophical School of Athens.
In 1993, he took over the management of “GEORGIADIS-LIBRARY OF THE GREEKS” publications. In 1994 he founded the Center for Liberal Studies “HELLINIKI AGOGI”.
He was elected Member of Parliament in Athens B in the 2007 and 2009 elections with the LAOS political party.
In February 2012, he joined the New Democracy political party, surrendering his parliamentary seat. He was elected with New Democracy in Athens B in the national elections of 2012 and 2015.
In 2011 he served as Deputy Minister of Shipping in the Government of Mr. Loukas Papadimos and in 2013 as Minister of Health in the Government of Mr. Antonis Samaras.
On January 18, 2016, by decision of the President of New Democracy Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, one of the two Vice-Presidents of New Democracy was appointed, with the purpose of controlling the parliamentary work.
On July 9, 2019, Adonis Georgiadis was sworn in as Minister of Development and Investments in the Government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Dr. Athanasios Dagoumas is an Associate Professor in Energy and Resource Economics and Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy laboratory at the University of Piraeus.
He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, where he elaborated his PhD in Energy Economics.
He is Member of the Board of the Cambridge Trust for New Thinking in Economics.
He has more than 15 years of work and research experience in energy related issues, including working as a Senior Researcher at the University of Cambridge and as a Senior Energy Analyst at the Transmission System Operator and at the Electricity Market Operator in Greece.
Moreover he was enrolled as a Special Advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change in Greece.
His extensive experience builds his capacity for an in-depth understanding of multidisciplinary aspects of the energy sector: economic, engineering, environmental and policy.
He is keen on developing models for the energy system, the economic-energy-environment (E3) systems, and the real energy markets.
He has been President of the Regulatory Authority for Energy since July 2020.
Manos Manousakis is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer of Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO or ADMIE) since June 2017.
In 2019, he was elected Member of the Board of Directors of the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E).
Previously, Mr. Manousakis was the CEO of OTE Rural North and South, having held various positions of responsibility in the Greek Telecommunications Company, where he played an instrumental role in the design of cutting-edge telecommunication services.
He was appointed Secretary General of the Hellenic Ministry of Economy (2015), as well as a Director at Black Sea Trade and Development Bank for the same period.
Mr Manousakis holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He has also academic experience having been a lecturer at the University of Piraeus. His career combines business development leadership and complex project management with country strategic planning.
Eva Kaili is a Greek Politician, Vice President of the European Parliament as of 2022. She is elected Member of the European Parliament with the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats since 2014. She is the first woman Chair of Science and Technology STOA Panel 2017-2022 and the Center for Artificial Intelligence.
As Vice President, Eva Kaili is the Chair for ICT Innovation Strategy, Informatics and Telecoms, has the responsibility of European Strategy and Policy Analysis Systems, Foresight, STOA, and Corporate Social Responsibility. She replaces the President with the European Business Associations, UN, OECD, WTO, and the region of Middle East. Furthermore, she is in the Industry Technology Research and Energy, Economic and Monetary Affairs, Budget, and the AIDA committee. Eva Kaili led the first positive Blockchain Resolution of the EP in 2015 establishing a tech neutral and innovation-friendly approach. She was rapporteur for the Annual Tax Report and shadow rapporteur on Family businesses, Crowdfunding service providers, Industrial policy on AI and robotics, removing geo-blocking and discrimination, on fairness and transparency for Online Platform to Business relations.
She worked on the extension of the European Fund for Strategic Investments since 2017 and is the standing S&D rapporteur of the opinion on InvestEU, a powerful programme of Next Generation EU Recovery and Resilience Fund to trigger 372 billion investments with a guarantee of 26 bln, to boost sustainable investment, innovation, and job creation till 2027. Recently she worked on Cybersecurity NIS2, the first Pilot Regime for market infrastructures on Blockchain distributed ledger technology, on Fuels for the Maritime sector and Competition policy for EU.

Panayotis Glavinis is Professor of International Economic Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He graduated in 1986 from the same Faculty and then studied in France, at Paris II University, where he also completed his PhD and received his habilitation à diriger des recherches.
He teaches International Trade Law, Foreign Investment Law, Energy Law, Finance Law and International Business Transactions.
His most recent book on “Power Redistribution Mechanisms in the International Economic System”, published by Papazisis, was awarded the prize of the Academy of Athens on 19.12.2019.
From 2004 to 2018, he was a member of the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (Paris).
From 1.10.2011 to 19.6.2012, he served as Legal Adviser at the Prime Minister’s Office.
In 2019-2021, he served as Chairman of the Legal Committee of the University of Thessaloniki and since August 2020, he is Vice President of the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).
ikos Tsafos serves as the chief energy adviser to the Prime Minister of Greece. A leading authority on energy, Nikos has worked with companies, banks and governments in over 30 countries on some of the world’s most complex energy projects. Most recently, he held the Schlesinger Chair for Energy and Geopolitics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS); he also served on the Climate Advisory Committee of the Export Import Bank of the United States (EXIM). From 2016 to 2019, he was a lecturer at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).

Vassilis Kikilias was born in Athens in 1974.
He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens. He is an orthopedic surgeon, a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens, with a postgraduate degree from the National School of Public Health.
He is a graduate of the Lycée Leonin of Nea Smyrni. As a basketball player, he has played for Panionios, AEK and the National Teams.
In 2006 he was elected Municipal Counselor at the Municipality of Athens and then took over as President of the Youth and Sports Organization of the Municipality of Athens.
In 2010, as a candidate for Attica Regional Governor, he became the leader of the Major Opposition of the Attica Region. At the same time, he assumed the duties of Deputy Program Secretary of Nea Dimokratia.
In 2012, he was elected Member of the Greek Parliament for the Athens voting district with Nea Dimokratia and from June 10, 2014 until January 2015, he served as Minister of Public Order and Citizen Protection.

Alexandra Sdoukou is a lawyer, permanent employee at the Management Organisation Unit of Development Programmes (MOU S.A.) under the Ministry of Economy and Development. Since 2004, she is working as legal advisor in the public administration in various positions at the Ministries of Economy, Development and Environment, Energy & Climate Change.
She has been specialised as energy policymaker, working with all Energy Ministers from 2007 to 2015. From 2012 to 2015, she was Head of Cabinet at the Minister of Environment, Energy & Climate Change, competent to develop policy formulation, implementation and monitoring on a wide range of energy and environmental projects.
From October 2017, she was Advisor to the President of Nea Dimokratia on energy and natural resources.
Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Democritus University of Thrace, a Master’s Degree LLM in European Commercial Law from the University of Bristol U.K., and a M.Sc. in International & Economic studies from the Athens University of Economics & Business.

Nikos Papathanasis is a Mechanical Engineer and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
He received his B.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto and he continued his education by receiving two post-graduate degrees, Master in Management and Aerospace Engineering.
He commenced work in 1984 at the De Havilland Aircraft Company (now Bombardier Aerospace) in Toronto. He served as a member of the board of the Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) and as a member of the board and executive vice president of the Olympic Aviation. He worked for twenty four years as a senior and C level executive at private and public companies in Greece and abroad.
His work experience includes the management of State interest companies as in public transportation companies, namely, CEO of ISAP S.A. (Urban Rail) and President and CEO of Urban Rail Transport S.A. From 2008 to 2010 he was President – elect of the National section of the European Center of Employers and Enterprises (CEEP).

Mr Famellos was born in Athens in 1966 and raised in Thessaloniki. He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Environmental Planning from the Hellenic Open University. As Chemical Engineer, Mr. Famellos has extensive experience in the fields of Environmental Engineering, Water Resources management, Recycling, and Waste Management. He has been member of the Board of the Technical Chamber of Greece from 1997 till 2015, and member of the National Delegation of the Technical Chamber of Greece from 2003 till 2015.
He was first elected as Member of the Parliament with the SYRIZA party in January 2015, and re-elected in September 2015 and July 2019. He was appointed as Parliamentary Representative of SYRIZA in October 2015, and as Chairman of the Inquiry Commission of the Parliament in April 2016, which was aimed at investigating the legality of bank loans towards Political Parties and Mass Media owners. From November 2016 to July 2019 he served as Alternate Minister for Environment and Energy of Greece. Today he is responsible for coordinating Energy and Environmental Policies within the SYRIZA-PA party. His main domains of responsibility include, among others, green transition and sustainable development, energy, biodiversity protection and forest ecosystems, waste management and circular economy.
Gregory D. Dimitriadis is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member of GROWTHFUND, the National Fund of Greece, since February 2021.
He studied in the UK and the USA, holding a bachelor with honours in engineering (Manchester Metropolitan University) and two masters; one in the field of telecommunications (University College London) and another in international business relations and international negotiations (The Fletcher School, Tufts University).
He is an executive with national and international experience in leading management positions in both the private and public sector.
He served as Chairman of Enterprise Greece and Secretary General for International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dealing with numerous strategic investments in Greece and led the development of the National Strategy for Trade & Investment Promotion.

Anastasios Manos was born in Athens. He has MBA from INSEAD in France, with scholarship from Bodossaki and Empirikion Foundation, an MSc. in Engineering Management from Technical University of Crete and BA/MA in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). During his studies at NTUA, he has received distinctions and scholarships from State Scholarship Foundation, Technical Chamber of Greece, and other Institutions
Anastasios is holding the CEO position for HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator) since October 2019.
In the past, he has held the position of Head of Procurement Balkans for LafargeHolcim Europe between 2016 and 2018.
During the period 2010 and 2016, he has held a series of Executive and Managerial positions for Heracles GCCo (member of Lafarge Group), among others Tassos was General Manager responsible for Logistics, Exports, Distribution Terminals, Procurement and Group IS/IT.

Nikos Chatzinikolaou was born on October the 9th 1962, in Alexandroupolis, Evros. He started working as a journalist in 1983 covering education topics in the newspaper “MESIMVRINI”.
In 1984, he received the “Botsi” award for journalism. He then started to cover political issues. Meanwhile, he started his collaboration with the Sunday edition of the newspaper “Akropolis”, the newspaper “Ethnos” and the magazines “ENA” and “STATUS”.
In 1987, he started working for the newly founded radio “ATHINA 9,84”. At the same time he became member of the founding committee of the station. He also temporarily worked at the radio stations “ERA”, “SKY 100,4”, “PLANET” and “STATUS FM”.
In 1989, he started his collaboration with MEGA TV station. From 1998 until 2003 he was General Director of News and Information department of the station.
From 2003 until 2007, he collaborates with ALPHA TV Station, as Executive Vice President and General Director of News and Information department and later, as Chairman and CEO.
From April 2007 until October 2011 he collaborates with ALTER TV station.
In September 2007 he founded along with Andreas Kouris the «Real Group», which owns the radio station “Real Fm 97.8” in Athens, “Real Fm 107.1” in Salonica, “Ellinikos 93,2” in Athens, the weekly (every Sunday) newspaper “Real News” and the news portal “Real.gr”.
In 2012 Nikos Chatzinikolaou created his own personal site-blog “Enikos.gr” and the financial news blog “Enikonomia.gr”.
From September 2013 until June 2016, he collaborates with STAR Channel TV Station.
Since January 2017, he is the anchorman of the main news edition of ANT1 TV Station.
Nikos Chatzinikolaou is board member of European Newspaper Publishers Association (ENPA).
She studied Political Sciences at the Department of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and media training at the BBC Academy. She is a journalist, political analyst, TV anchorwoman until 2011 and General Manager of the think tank Institute of Democracy, Konstantinos Karamanlis until 2014.
